Maps of the Day: Texas’ abortion clinics vs. crisis pregnancy centers

Here’s a sobering visual of the state of abortion access in Texas via RH Reality Check.

According to Whole Woman’s Health, a group of reproductive health centers in Texas, here are all the crisis pregnancy centers in the Lone Star State. There are at least 108. Looks like you can’t throw a stone without hitting a facility looking to mislead, manipulate, and shame you out of seeking an abortion.

And here’s where Texans are expected to be able to get an abortion when the state’s new TRAP law goes into after September 2014. That’s six clinics within 268,581 square miles.
