Did Wendy Davis just hint at a run for Texas governor?

This would be the best news! On October 3rd, Texas State Senator Wendy Davis will announce her future plans.  The consensus is that she’s running for governor of Texas but until she officially announces we can only hope.

Her run against the sitting and forgetful Governor Rick Perry would be an epic battle of fundraising and outside cash is going to be key in how formidable Davis can be against Perry who has been in office for over a decade.

Certainly, Davis’ candidacy would fire up this website give folks outside of Texas a real opportunity to be excited about a statewide race in the traditionally red state.  If you would like to get Senator Davis’ announcement click here to receive updates.

Run, Wendy, run!
