Bring Feministing to your campus for Women’s History Month!

Lori, Jos, and student panelist at a speaking event.Feministing is currently in the middle of our fifth annual speaking tour, when we travel to colleges and community centers to talk feminism, organizing, and blogging with students, activists, and professors. Our busiest month of events is always March, which is Women’s History Month,  And we want to make sure you get a chance to bring Feministing: Offline and Unfiltered to your school.

As we approach Feministing’s 10th anniversary in April, we’re asking ourselves questions about the state of feminism: how has the movement changed over the past decade, both online and off? What’s next for the feminist internets? What we can do to keep building power and winning feminist victories? We can talk about a bunch of topics we’re engaged in, including campus sexual assault organizing, trans advocacy, immigration and racial justice organizing, and holding mainstream media accountable for racism/sexism/tons more.

Want to hang out and nerd out with us? Then set up a Feministing speaking event today!

Zerlina speakingThe keynote panel features writers from our award-winning team covering a range of hot topics followed by a lengthy Q&A. We invite a student panelist from your campus to bring a local perspective as well. We can also conduct interactive workshops on blogging and online activism for student or community groups. Feministing sees spreading the word about the activist potential of blogging and educating people about the tools to make it happen as central to our mission.

We work with a number of different budgets to suit a variety of groups’ needs. If you’re interested in bringing Feministing to your center, campus or organization, email us here (tpaperny[at]gmail[dot]com) for more information on fees and availability. The sooner you get in touch with us, the better — our dance cards for spring and especially Women’s History Month are filling up fast! For more information, read about all the speakers and check out our speaking events page. Hope to see you at a panel soon!
