Calling for editors for a feminist blog!

Dear Feministing readers,

Have you ever wanted to be an editor for a feminist blog? Well, here’s your chance! We know that you, as a Feministing reader, are already qualified in being familiar with feminist issues.

Right now Gender Across Borders (GAB), a global feminist blog, is looking for a performance arts editor as a temporary internship. The performance arts include dance and theater (we have separate editors for visual arts and music). All internships may be completed from your home computer anywhere in or outside of the U.S.

One of the great things about interning at GAB is that you can learn more about editing, writers, and most importantly, you can have the unique chance of voicing your opinion on all feminist issues. Every intern gets to edit a "series" which is solely created by that intern. A series consists of many articles about the same feminist topic that get published over 1-2 days. You, as an intern, get to recruit writers, edit their papers, and organize the series. For an example of a series, go to our most recent series on Women, Art & War here.

You can read more about the position description here. Applications for this internship are due next Friday, January 29. If you have any questions regarding the internship and/or application, please can contact Emily at emily@genderacrossborders.com .

Thanks,

Gender Across Borders
