Q: What’s making you happy today? A: Clem Snide’s “Find Love”

The idea for this post, which I hope will become something of a series, is lovingly ripped off from NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast. PCHH runs a segment on every show called “What’s Making You Happy This Week?”

“Don’t let hurricanes hold you back, raging rivers or heart attack.”

This is the only song I know that has lyrics about wrestling bears and killer bees, and that’s reason enough to be fond of it. But on a grey, rainy day like today, this song feels like the aural equivalent of snuggling under a warm blanket, or sipping a mug of hot tea.

Happy Wednesday, everyone.
