Feminists are all Manhaters!!! Really!!! THEY ALL HATE MEN! ESPECIALLY THESE OLD DUDES!

That’s right people!

I’ve been doing a lot of research lately about the early feminists, because I felt that although I had written a lot about feminist issues, I haven’t paid tribute to the pioneers of feminism the way I should have. I wanted to go back–way back. And way back did I go. And guess what I found.

Well, the earliest feminist writings I have discovered were written in the early fifteenth century by a woman by the name of Christine de Pizan. Before her, throughout the Rennaissance and Middle Ages, almost everything about women that was written was dripping were misogyny. According to the depictions of early writers, all women were lustful, manipulative, irrational, cowardly, greedy, sadistic, and weak. Beautiful women were evil lustful temptresses, ugly women were incapable of bringing joy to anyone, and truly chaste women were "as rare as a black swan." Women lived to torment men, obsess over their looks, pursue sex, and do other evil deeds. Women were responsible for original sin, Eve decieved Adam into sinning. Adam was made first and Eve was made from him, not in God’s image like Adam was. Having a female child was a mistake, an accident, a perversion of genetics. It was a pregnancy gone wrong. Females were deformed, brain-damaged, devil-influenced versions of males. According to Aristotle, in reproduction, it was the man who produced the form of the child while the woman just gave matter. It was only he man ...

MTV, Please Try a Little Harder at Insulting Women, Please

So I was innocently looking up new on the new Sherlock Holmes flick starring Robert Downey, Jr, mostly because my HUGE CAPSLOCK-WORTHY crush on that man grows day by day. And so I come across this MTV feature where they ask stars RDJ and Jude Law, who plays Watson who the “girl” is in the relationship of Watson and Holmes. But apparently, they already had the answer.

“in the movie Sherlock is definitely the girl in the relationship (Those temper tantrums! That manipulation!)”

Pardon?

According to MTV, to be the “girl” in the relationship is to by a hysterical manipulator. Hey guess what MTV, not ever relationship in the world is the sick fantasy that is Bella Swan and Edward Cullen ...

So Let’s See What Manhood101 has got

Originally posted at johnnynotsid.Buzznet.com

Manhood101 is, in it’s own words, “Manhood 101 is a completely FREE resource. We are a growing community of men dedicated to reestablishing male authority and defending the male identity against the emasculating culture of Feminism.” The makers of the site recently published a book online titled “Principles 101: Feminism, Manhood, and You.” You can view the whole book online here.

Onto the description:

The Pussy is no Pussy

Seriously, this is annoying.

Why do we equate the term "pussy" with "wimp"?

We hear this all the time, on the street, online, in Judd Apatow films… The vagina is continually used as metaphor for weakness and wimpiness.

"Don’t be such a pussy."

"Don’t let the door hit you in the vagina on your way out."

"Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby to miss his fourth straight game because of a sore vagina"

This is really starting to annoy me because this slang can only be attributed to one thing: misogyny.

I’m not saying that everyone who uses that term is a misogynist, I’m saying that there’s subliminal girl-hate within that use of the word. Because, if you think about it in realistic terms, it makes absolutely no ...

Some Thoughts about Sexual Empowerment

Anyone who knows me knows I’m no fan of abstinence only propaganda bullshit and all of its disturbing features and results. I think I’ve written enough about it to make my point. But there’s another thing I want to talk about that might not seem as true to my often-stated convictions as you might expect.

It has to do with the new double standard, which is kind of a spinoff of the old one. The basic one is obvious “He’s a Player, She’s a skank.” We know it all. But the new double standard is the one celebrated and adored by the Joe Francises of the world: Sexual Objectification of women= Sexual Empowerment for women. The idea ...

Rape Apologists and Victim Blamers Hate Men

Or at least think very little of them.

You see, people who blame rape at least partially on the victims operate under a few assumptions. One, that rape is about sex, two, that women can drive men to rape by provoking them, and three, that rape should be something that is expected as a risk.

Examples:

"When it comes to rape the rapist is absolutely the criminal. However, girls that are drunk and dressed provocatively act like bait for a rapist. Being drunk and sexy is like walking through the ghetto covered in jewelry. Girls that are not dressed scantily and are not intoxicated have every right to complain if they are raped. Although provocatively dressed drunk girls are not ...

My Dad, The Hard-Core Feminist Republican

My Parents
Though I am young, I have always been a politically-minded person, partly due to growing up near the District of Columbia, and partly because I grew up in a bi-partisan household. My mother, a practicing Catholic from the mid-west, is a Democrat and my father, a non-practicing Jew from Long Island, is a Republican.

One thing that always surprised me, though, was how my father was not like the Republicans I usually heard about. Even at the age of nine, I noticed how my Dad simply didn’t fit the usual “Republican” archetype. From ages 5-11, I grew up in a pre-dominantly liberal area of Maryland and I remember during the 2000 election hearing school friends and their parents ...

“Feminazi”

This is a direct address to all people who use the term “feminazi” or “feminist nazi” to describe someone you don’t agree with. Because, you see, I get sick enough of all the eye-rolling at pro-woman sentiment, but this phrase makes me want to beat the shit out of the person who uses it.

By using that phrase, not only do you show your own pathetic cowardice, you also try to belittle the work, the blood sweat and tears of every woman who fought tooth and nail to acquire respect for herself as a human being. You belittle the work of the foremothers who worked so you, and/or your daughters, sisters, and mothers could vote, hold a job, be respected, ...
