Chelsea Fagan writes: If they’re not husband or wifey material, they’re not worth it

This is my first post, so I’m not really sure how to go about writing this, but I felt outraged and somewhat offended after reading this article. While I agree that a lot of people don’t take the idea of relationships seriously, and I AM aware that I do not share my definition of a “relationship” with these people, I respect that opinion. Being with someone is not a priority for a lot of people, and suggesting that their lives are empty or devoid of meaning because of this is really condescending in Fagan’s part, who proudly advertises herself on her Twitter as a “connoisseur of husband material.”

Even more disturbing? Chelsea Fagan’s reply to one of her reader’s comments. These girls “so afraid of being alone” that Fagan describes and Fagan herself appear, to me, to be opposite extremes on a same line: women who can’t be alone (not to be confused with women who care little about being in serious relationships, because yes, there IS a difference, Chelsea) and women who condemn other women for not being independent, while defending the importance of having a serious commitment with a significant other.
