Melanie Poole

Melanie Poole is Australia's 2013-15 Fulbright-Anne Wexler Public Policy Scholar at NYU. Committed to LGBTQ and women's rights, she has previously worked in advocacy, policy and campaigning with CARE, All Out, the United Nations Population Fund, the UNHCR in Kenya and the Aga Khan Development Network in Pakistan. Melanie was Australia's 2008 Youth Representative to the United Nations General Assembly. She holds degrees in Law and Political Science.
