Girls Sweep Google’s Science Fair

In awesome news from the STEM world, the top winners in all three age divisions of Google’s nation-wide science fair, and the overall winner, were all young women! Google’s science fair is way beyond the science fairs I remember- no baking soda and vinegar volcanoes; instead, the winner’s project was on ovarian cancer chemo. And she’s only 17! As a female scientist, I think it’s amazing to see girls take not just one of the top spots, but all of them. Congrats to them!
