MTV Impact: Abortion

MTV Canada is doing a special on abortion and the stigma attached to it. The special has been postponed one week and will be airing this SUNDAY APRIL 10, 2011 at 6:00 p.m ET/PT. Here’s a preview:

Diet Pepsi’s new “Skinny Can” hitting shelves in March 2011

According to Pepsi’s Feb. 8 Press Release the Diet Pepsi Skinny Can is a “celebration of beautiful, confident women.”

Umm, NO. It’s not. It’s essentially a celebration of unattainable, often unhealthy beauty standards.

Because, you know, skinny = beautiful. Marketing Department = FIRED.
