Feministing Jamz: Michelle Obama’s ‘this is for my girls’

Because Michelle Obama is quite possibly the greatest First Lady of all time, she’s helped produce a new anthem called “This is for My Girls” meant to compliment her Let Girls Learn initiative. The song features the voices and talents of Missy Elliott, Janelle Monae, Zendaya, Lea Michele, Kelly Rowland, Chloe & Halle, Jadagrace and Kelly Clarkson.

Still not sold on the awesome? Check out this clip released by Cosmopolitan that features a couple verses by Missy Elliott. If you fall in love (I did…won’t lie), then pick up the song via iTunes. Proceeds benefit the Peace Corps Let Girls Learn Fund.
