Hugging 101

Earlier today, Sesali wrote about the importance of teaching kids about consent. Children, just like everyone else, have the right to set boundaries about who can touch them and how.

We need to listen. I love this graphic from Planned Parenthood Ottawa, which provides three helpful tips for treating kids respectfully at holiday events (not only applicable to Canadian Thanksgiving, I promise).

Alexandra Brodsky was a senior editor at Feministing.com.
