Watch: Women in Hollywood stand up for men in Hollywood in satirical PSA

Inspired by statistics on the gender gap in Hollywood, this sarcastic PSA from the Make It Fair Project calls for men to “have it all.”

The video — created by a cast and crew of 70 women — cites stats compiled by the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media showing that only 93 percent of popular films are directed by men, only 80 percent are written by men, and only 70 percent of speaking roles are given to men. “We won’t relent till it’s 100 percent. It’s only fair that men should have it all,” the women sing.

The project, created by actress Patricia Noonan and comedians Emily Tarver and Nadia Quinn and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, calls “for gender equality in the stories we tell, the wages we earn, and the future we shape.”
