Video: 7th graders rap about Rosalind Franklin, win everything

Students working on Rosalind Franklin video

What better way to celebrate Ada Lovelace Day than with an amazing rap battle by 7th graders about the often overlooked work of Rosalind Franklin?

I love Science History Rap Battles – it’s a great way to get kids excited about learning, and we learn better when we’re having fun. This video was created by students at KIPP Bridge Charter in Oakland, CA with the help of Tom McFadden. It’s pretty much the best.

Check out more information on the video, including resources to learn more about Rosalind Franklin, here.
