Fat-Phobic Weight Loss Company Thinks “Precious” Actress Should Lose Weight

This pisses me off so much!
Apparently the CEO of the weight loss company AcaiSupply.com wants to help “Precious” actress Gabourey Sidibe “get into shape”.
According to this article:

The CEO of weight loss company AcaiSupply.com has reached out to the young starlet and offered her a deal to help her get into shape because he disagrees with Stern and everyone else who thinks Gabourey is a one-hit wonder.

The article then goes on to say:

The letter urged Sidibe to rid herself of this “terrible affliction” and said that she can one day win an Oscar ‘by being active, fit, and most of all, healthy.’

Wait, what? So being overweight is an “affliction”? And being “fit” and “healthy” will win her an Oscar?
I don’t believe this! First Howard Stern makes that terrible comment about how Sidibe will never get another role, now this!
Am I the only one who’s sick of this fat hating?

Suggestions For Pro-Women Bands?

Ever since I’ve become a feminist, it seems that I’ve had a hard time finding male-fronted bands that aren’t a bunch of misogynistic asses. My music collection is mostly made up of female artists/bands. However, I have a few male bands in it.
So, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for male bands that aren’t sexist sounding.
