Support Feministing this giving season

We need your help!

While Feministing has been around for over a decade, we’ve never been funded and have been run as a labor of love by a badass crew making small stipends for their work. As we’ve made this publication a platform to uplift marginalized voices, this has become untenable and unacceptable. We need to pay this hard working, diverse crew much better for the work they do every day. And we need your help to do that. Please donate so we can wrap up 2015 well, and to help set us up to achieve our goals of better paying our hard working crew in 2016.

We fell short of our fundraising goal on Giving Tuesday and need to raise over $6000 by the end of this year to continue our work. These funds will go to pay the small year end stipends our crew makes that aren’t nearly enough for all their hard work. Anything above the $7500 we need to raise this month will help set us up to be in a better financial position next year. We have ambitious fundraising goals to support our goals for the publication, and we need your help to get there.

The amount we’re asking for is small compared to the year end fundraising campaigns of a lot of nonprofits, but these funds will go a long way to support our work. That means every small donation makes a big difference. What is reading Feministing all year worth to you? Can you give $5, the cost of an overpriced holiday beverage? If all our readers gave $5 we’d be set for years to come. Of course, if you can give more we appreciate that too!

Thank you so much to all our supporters! We couldn’t do this work without your help.
