Today would be the 80th birthday of the self-proclaimed Black Lesbian Feminist Mother Warrior Poet. And to celebrate, The Feminist Wire is launching a two-week online forum on Lorde’s life and work today

It will feature meditations, critical essays, sermons, personal reflections, poetry, love notes, and videos by a wide range of people influenced by Lorde in the US, the Caribbean, and Germany. And it already promises to be amazing, so check it out!
