A world where there are waiting periods for war, not abortion

Cartoon called showing a counterearth where the women have access to abortion but the president has lots of barriers before he can declare=

Go here for a larger version of the cartoon.

Counter-earth: Such a strange place! So different from the world we know–where a President’s unilateral power to wage war is now essentially unchecked and the price tag is apparently of little concern. But getting an abortion? Well, that can never be hard enough.

Somehow in this other planet, the President can declare war instead of congress?!

In case you haven’t noticed, we’re fighting several wars that the president, not congress started. And in the case of Libya, we’re fighting a war that the congress has not even given rubber stamp approval to. So, in less you are caught up on semantics, that planet is this one.

        “in less” = “unless”
