It’s time to fucking rally.
The recent slew of anti-choice bills that have been infiltrating Congress has sparked some incredible online activism — but while we continue to mobilize the internets, pro-choice folks are organizing some serious street-hitting to come.
Planned Parenthood of NYC, Raising Women’s Voices, NARAL Pro-Choice New York, National Advocates for Pregnant Women and other reproductive health and justice organizations and elected officials are holding a massive rally on February 26th in New York City to protest what couldn’t be called less than an all-out war against reproductive justice — and against our lives.
New York City
If you’re not as fired up as I am (hence the potty mouth), you damn well should be. But if cursing my ass off is what it takes to get people to understand the urgency and danger of these bills – bills legalizing the murder of pregnant women and abortion providers, bills that are moving forward in Congress — then so be it. RSVP to the Facebook event. Follow the Tumblr page. And for the love of Pro-choice, if you can, get thee to that fucking rally.
For those not in, around or can’t make the trip to New York — please, post about rallies happening in other areas on the Community blog for us to highlight. Or email me and I’ll link to them here.
