This week’s fuck you is gonna be short and sweet — a quickie if you will — because I’m sure we’re gonna be doing many more like this from now until the election.
Fuck you, John McCain, for being a total hypocrite when it comes to womens rights. First off, earlier this week, one of your campaign spokespeople, Carly Fiorina, said that you understand that women want their insurance to cover birth control. She failed to mention that you have voted against legislation that would have guaranteed that. Then later this week, you had the audacity to say that you’re “committed to making sure there’s equal pay for equal work,” totally neglecting to mention that you voted against the Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which would have guaranteed people the right to sue their employers for wage discrimination.
All of this earns a big FUCK YOU, John McCain. The first of many.
