Terrorism, campaigning and cleavage

On Dennis Miller’s radio show Wednesday, McCain’s former top strategist Mike Murphy talks about current chief strategist Charlie Black’s recent slip that another terrorist attack would be “a big advantage” for their campaign. And what better way to lighten the conversation by joking about tits:

Transcript:

MILLER: Charlie Black, the aide decamp for McCain who gacks it here, does he have to go, do you think?
MURPHY: Well, he’s an old friend of mine, so I’ll defend him. I don’t know what happened. I think there must have been tremendous reporter cleavage involved or something.
MILLER: hahahahahahaha
MURPHY: Charlie got off his focus, he’s a good guy, he’s apologized for it… (Emphasis mine)

Why talk about using threat of terror as a mechanism of state control when you can talk about boobies?
This clown used to work for McCain? That explains a lot…

Because everyone knows that men are powerless to their primal urges when confronted with a woman’s body.
Good lord, don’t men get sick of being sterotyped as sex crazed idiots? If I was a man, I’d be pretty offended at the assumption that a glimpse of a random pair of boobies makes me blather incompetently.
Seriously, it’s not like we don’t know what breasts look like in general.

That’s disgusting! A moron makes a comment about how a terrorist attack would HELP mccain’s campaign.. and then when called out on his bullshit, someone else defends him by saying he must’ve been distracted by looking at TITS???? I’m glad it’s okay to treat your female coworkers that way… and also that staring at boobs can make you involuntarily spurt things out about the benefits of terrorist attacks.
I’m also glad that grown men in positions of power are able to make this excuse.

The saddest part about this is that the reporter who was interviewing Charlie Black was not a woman.
They are digging deep for excuses, aren’t they?

The sad thing is, the reporter in question (from Fortune Magazine) was male.

Only liberals and Democrats are judged by the company they keep.
If a repugnican “conservative” hangs out with and supports terrorists or white collar felons then it’s not mentioned.

“yes yes, those reporter boobies are sure funny, ha ha, let’s make us feel better about the fact that we suck.”
(are these people 10 years old?)

Dennis Miller was probably just happy to have someone else making painfully unfunny jokes for once.

He’s right though, a terrorist attack would help McCain’s campaign a lot.
But you’re not supposed to say it out loud.
