I don’t know how much Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman’s new movie, The Switch, is going to challenge ideas of conventional family structures like Aniston claims it will: it’s about a woman who plans to use a sperm donor to have a baby solo — until her doting best friend drunkenly switches his sperm with her donor. My guess? They fall in love and end up being the happy, nuclear family after all. (Not to mention consent issues are screaming here, but let’s save that for another post.)

Nonetheless, I still have to give Aniston props for her recent interview on the subject:
