TIME magazine cover featuring a suit-clad person dangling from the heel of a pantsuit clad leg.

Why did TIME think this was a good idea?

I mean, it’s not “Hey you guys have you noticed that Chris Christie is like a big fat elephant?” bad, but I’m pretty sure it marks the official starting point for the next two years of talking about Hillary in the same old bullshit, sexist tone: she’s scary, she’s pushy, she’s stepping on men – guys, she is LITERALLY STEPPING ON A MAN IN THIS PHOTO – and oh, her high heels and her pantsuits.

2016:

Finally! A Republican video game lets you to slap Hillary Clinton in the face

Proving that Republicans are (justifiably) scared shitless about a potential Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential run, a Republican anti-Clinton Super PAC brings you a game where you are encouraged to slap the former Secretary of State (who has not even announced that she’s running) across the face. But before getting to the game, let’s discuss the Super PAC, whose treasurer is Christopher M. Marston, a former member of the Bush administration and a Republican campaign finance consultant. The Super PAC is called The Hillary Project  and rocks the catchy motto “The Only Thing Standing Between Hillary and the White House.” I’ve provided a screenshot, so you can appreciate the artwork; the urgency of the red and the spookiness ...

RIP Helen Thomas, a trailblazing pioneer for women in journalism

Reporter Helen Thomas died at home in her Washington DC apartment, surrounded by her loved ones. But on top of these achievements, Thomas was a pioneer for women journalists and was a first in many things. For instance, Thomas

is considered the first woman to write about things not considered the “women’s beat,” which the AP defines as “the soft stories about presidents’ kids, wives, their teas and their hairdos.” was the first female White House bureau chief for a wire service (for ...

Hillary Clinton basically just announced her candidacy on Twitter

Kind of.

Clinton joined Twitter today, amassing over 70,000 followers in an hour. Her first and thus far only tweet ended “#tweetsfromhillary,” a clever nod to her own meme, but it’s her bio that caught our attention.

If you have the chance to be the first female president but actually plan to spend the rest of your life watching “Love It or List It,” “glass ceiling cracker, TBD…” is not how you present yourself to the world.
