Not to say ‘ba-humbug’ at anyones success, but I think the Hunger Games deserves a slightly more critical approach. Sure, the main character is a girl and she’s kicking ass, but there’s a lot in these books that’s just as bad as the Twilight series at perpetuating outdated and sexist views of young women.
