This may help you a bit more regarding BDSM; it’s written mainly in a fandomish context and in terms of it being a kink, but it’s still good, IMO…
http://kink-wiki.dreamwidth.org/12999.htmlI think your concerns are valid, but at the same time, her choices are valid.

Jodie Foster didn’t need to come out…again. She basically already did that in December 2007.

The mansplaining in the Facebook thread for this post, it hurts.
Anyhoo. I seriously hope that this sort of thing will happen here in the States in the future.

The BFD isn’t that Jordyn cried after being edged out of a spot. I think most of us know that athletes cry. The BFD is that the NBC cameraperson put a camera in her face subjecting viewers to the spectacle, and their reporter tried to interview her *when she was still in tears*, not even [...]

Disgusting. But then, I shouldn’t be surprised about PETA’s nonsense anymore. They’ve taken up permanent residence in Crazytown.

I believe there is one performer’s name who should be on the tweet list that isn’t: the woman Chris Brown assaulted. Rhianna. While she may’ve forgiven him or be back with him, it does not make what happened to her okay.

Mmmm, stupidity. Heaven forbid a cis male (you know this isn’t aimed at FTMs or masculine women…did that cover it all? Just checking.
) show any emotion other than anger! (Notice sarcasm.)In any case, I don’t like Dr. Pepper, soooo… *nods*

Right, so how many of them have worked to abolish the death penalty? Or to bring our troops home from the front? Oh, wait, that’s right; in their minds, only fetuses matter. They don’t care about the already-born unless they make certain criteria.

Do it!
For what it’s worth, I’ve gone out with my legs unshaven and largely uncovered. When I was younger (around puberty age) there’d be comments. Now, no one really cares if I do or not.

Shelly commented on the blog post What princesses taught me growing up in the 90s 2 years, 3 months ago · View
I grew up in the 1980s, so there weren’t really any princesses to idolize (or I wasn’t paying much attention). I liked Strawberry Shortcake, but I tended to pay more attention to the blueberry character, I think; I forgot his name. (Actually, I thought he was a girl for some reason and even gave him [...]

“Yoni” is a Sanskrit word for female genitalia; it’s not a made-up one. Personally, I think it’s a very beautiful word, and a much better one than “vagina”.
So instead of a green blob, how about a magenta one?
