    Notice the sexist advertisers on the website? Taboola serves up advertisements in a little box to the right. One of their advertisers is called ”girlfriend activation system”, which is a Pickup-Artist guide. It is as objectifying and misogynistic as you’d expect. I haven’t seen this advertisement on Feministing, but it is shown on IFLscience (by Taboola) pretty frequently.

The most amusing mistake in Levenson’s article at The Wire was attributing the research report to “Taylor & Francis Online”. Taylor and Francis is a publisher, not a publication. [...]
