throughout history, men have used the ”invention” or ”myth” of virginity to seize control over women like property. it was manipulated to gain land ownership, money , and to social climbing in general. this parasitic abuse of power clings strong to the misogynistic grip men still have in modern society.so long as a women’s sexuality can never be declared truly hers _free from the bias in our culture WE can never truly be independent or free. from here on i oppose the ”myth” and measure of women’s worth via virginity and celibacy. sexuality is personal, its your own. no double standards will abuse our self-esteem, no forced entries will hinder how we appear as a whole.
