Is it really necessary for a feminist site to come to the defense of a rich white woman’s right to say the ‘n’ word? I mean really?

I liked Akiba Solomon’s piece on way racial justice should be a LGBT issue. I know Black members of that community who from the outset where at the forefront of the Trayvon Martin situation. As well they should be.

I tweeted and blogged about this from the time I heard of it and I am happy that online activism made an impact…but really we shouldn’t have to fight so hard for simply justice.
