    A “frivolous suit?” A what?!

Can someone clarify…are they really going to have to pay that all? Is there someway they can at least appeal the ruling of the cost? Or defer it? To add that money on top of everything…and those words…god, I’m sick.

  • I just don’t get why people do this. Literally. In my mind, it does not compute. If you ID as woman/womyn/female, ta-da! You’re a woman. If you ID as man/male, you’re male. End of discussion. If you don’t like those categories, ID as what you think you are, and that’s what you are at that [...]

Sorry…just typing a comment so I can find this again when it comes out.

I feel like it’s one of those “sneaky” jokes. The guy in the bed is the one who made the quip, and I think we’re supposed to assume someone beat him up for being a jerk. However, the fact is that you still basically get to tell a sexist joke as the main part of [...]

  • Computer-wise, you have some leeway with choices, but as a console gamer, I feel conflicted. Microsoft is obviously up there, but you’re talking about an industry where you are basically going with Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo, and most gamers use a variety of these devices because each company offers a different experience. It would be [...]

“But part of me wonders if it’s worth it to spend so much effort making myself feel plausibly female by transforming my outside appearance. Doesn’t gender exist in the mind? Should I be focused instead on reconciling my own internal issues of not fitting in and not belonging?” If you like outwardly appearing female, then [...]

  • I like this, tho being quite young myself (born late 80′s), I really can only comment about the more recent stuff. Sailor Moon didn’t get its out lesbians in the US, though I guess everyone knew even with the editing (the ten minutes of hand holding/groping instead of kissing or whatever…yeah, that didn’t seem even [...]

I’m American; my family has a German background, which I’m told is the reason I have such thick, dark hair. And I’m pale because, I don’t have a job that requires me to be outdoors, and hey, I’m not going tanning. Though, honestly, I’ve always been more self-derisive about my skin than anyone has been [...]

Ugh…when I worked at McDonald’s (yeah, yeah…some of us need money) and the regional people came by to evaluate our store, I was required to smile the whole time they were there. Four hours of standing at the counter, waiting for customers, and smiling.. My cheeks hurt so bad by the time those people left. [...]

I have no advice because I’m cis, but I wanted you to know I’m thinking best wishes for you. One more supporter from this corner.

  • konkonsn commented on the blog post Bi Now Gay Later   4 years, 2 months ago · View

I told my parents I was a lesbian instead of bi because of how much easier it is to be accepted as liking one gender definition rather than both (that and because I don’t want to go through the whole, “Well, just date men and forget the women” conversation). I do the same to many [...]
