I found that article spot on. If people want to use trigger warnings, fine, I don’t have a use for them. If somethings labeled ”trigger warning” I figure it means ”put away the gun…don’t shoot anyone, yet.” What I don’t find useful is when people use trigger warnings as a way of silencing people. I see this happening in a FB group I hang around, someone says something someone doesn’t like (god forbid women have different opinions about their own life experiences) and it’s all, ”You’ve triggered me!” . Ack.
