I don’t think Foster’s actions are defensible at all. Yes! It is ridiculous to reduce political awareness to “being angry” and “not being nice.” McMillan’s “bitch” section assumes that women who are politically involved (or hell, just aware of any social issues at all) are some sort of extreme minority.
