Hello Feministing readers! My name is Sarah, and today I am posting to ask for some help with a project that I will surmount this approaching school year. I will be a junior in high school this coming fall, and am taking an Independent Research (IR) class. My main assignment for this class is to pick a topic that isn’t too broad or too narrow, so I can get enough sources and information, and then give a presentation at the end of the year. I know that I am interested in researching something in the social justice sphere, so I decided to start my search at Feministing with help and suggestions. Like I said, broad topics like simply “reproductive justice” wouldn’t work, nor too narrow topics. If you have, in the past, researched something interesting relating to the social justice sphere, I’d be very interested to see all possibilities.
