Hello fellow feminists!  I’m trying to put together some feminist film screenings for the Feminist Society at my university — could you share with me your favorites?  I’m looking for more popular films (think Whip It) rather than academic is ultra-indie movies.  They don’t need to be explicitly feminist, but something that passes the Bechdel test or one we could have a discussion on would be great.  Thanks so much for your help!!  Also 5 extra cool points if you can name some women’s stories by women directors/writers/etc.
