And you thought Happy Furry People was good.

I will never get tired of singing feminist muppets.

That's fantastic! I never saw this episode. This really cheered me up!

YEAH!! This gave me a nice little laugh! :-)

Brilliant! (the gun to head was a bit extreem, thought)

Bad spelling. That should be "extreme, though".

Wow. What year was this? (couldn't have been in the last 15, I'd guess).

Look, it's the world's first documented case of a Nice Guy!

I needed that! I'm going to go play in the snow now. La la la!

Loved it!!!

this one came out in 1976 (it's on the Season 1 Muppet Show DVD)

This has been one of my favorite songs ever since I was little.

The Muppet skit only made it better, but then I am showing my age.

Love the T shirt

Not only was that totally awesome, (and it did cheer me up) but just as it finished, on my TV I hear Henry Higgins say "Have you ever met a man of good character where women are concerned?" That cracked me up.

Noname, it's supposed to be extreme. The muppet husband's behavior was extreme too. It's funny.

This is great! (Although I don't think the gun is necessary at the end.)

The Muppets always make my think of my niece. When she was really little, I popped in an old Muppet Show with Elton John as the guest -- wearing some ridiculous Elton John type of outfit -- and she ran into the kitchen crying. I asked my sister what was the problem, and she said, "Oh, Emily's afraid of Elton John." Maybe I'll show her the Candice Bergen one instead!

Afraid of Elton John? I can't decide if that's somehow adorable or just hilarious!

Kids get inexplicably frightened of unexpected people, though. When I was a kid, Pee Wee Herman and the muppet Guy Smiley scared the shit out of me.

I knew I loved the Muppets!!

Hell yeah! I used to hate the Muppets when I was little, but I think if it was more along these lines I wouldve watched!

I always loved Candice Bergen. The show "Murphy Brown" was pretty great- single, powerful woman is the head of a news show, is funny, is totally hot and even had a baby on her own.

That pretty much sums it up.
