I've been weakly an Edwards supporter the past couple of months, but I have to hand it to Mrs. Clinton: she's put up with a LOT of shit and has made history through sheer force of will, cleverness, and the occasional sacrifice of principles, for better or worse. I also appreciate her thoroughness - while she I wish she were more liberal, she strikes as the sort of person that doesn't fuck up very often. I'd be very happy to have her as president.

Here's a wild scenario. This horrendous treatment of Hillary keeps up, pissing off a large segment of voting women and putting her over the top in the general. Personally, I love Edwards but imagining leagues of Republican women quietly voting for Hillary Clinton of all people is a pretty entertaining thought.

OK. I feel bad and guilty enough for watching The Daily Show while Jon Stewart is scabbing, but did anybody else catch Stewart mocking Hillary for her rhetoric of making change (which, fair enough, it's empty stupid rhetoric) but saying hey, she can make change, does anybody in the audience have a ten-dollar bill? Just put it right in my mouth. That's...a stripper reference, am I wrong? Bite me, Jon Stewart, you scab.

how on earth is matthews still on the air? I really don't get this? I keep sending notes off to MSNBC and nothing ever happens. I didn't expect that they'd fire matthews over MY notes, but the misogyny is just too blatant to ignore. More and more people are realizing it and it just gets worse and worse. I sometimes think that Matthews is crazy. Like... nuts. The misogyny is so bad, and it's so blatant that i think that he MUST be nuts, like tin foil hat wearing kind of nuts, to say something that OBVIOUSLY misogynistic on the air.
