Congrats. I have to admit, though, that the comments on that site from some of those guys who were pissed Feministing won bothered me a lot. Bah. I guess that means I am just not that jaded yet.

Woohoo! It's too bad MRA's feel the need to piss all over you're completely deserved win. My excitement was seriously tempered by the fact people posted the fake feministing link in an effort to steer people in the wrong direction, posted nomarriage.com links, and called us all hateful and whiny. I get so tired of all of that bullshit. The men in my life, I love completely. MRA's? Yeah, I do hate you.

John, at first I thought you were kidding--because you did such a good job of mimicking the MRA tone. Then I realized you may be serious, given the nature of your past comments. Funny. Esp cause I know on the MRA boards they actually are talking about a recount and how we must have rigged the votes. Doubly funny.

Hi, Jessica. As I remember, this is the first time that you have ever actually addressed me, so hello!

I was actually using humor, and no I am not upset or angry. My guy (Angry Harry) did just fine, and I'm proud of his accomplishment. Whether he should have gotten first place is not so important to me as the fact that he -- an MRA -- got this award. As far as your victory, all I can say is congratulations.

It is true that a lot of my MRA friends are bitter. You guys are kind of roasting them for that. But they honestly think Harry should have won, and wonder why Feministing surged only when the vote counts stopped being displayed. Personally, I don't discount the notion that your victory was legitimate because you guys have more sheer numbers than we do, and I do remember one post in the final days of voting when you tried to get your supporters to vote. If your victory was indeed legitimate because of that last minute appeal you made, then good on you. We'll give you a run for your money next year! Until then, enjoy your victory. I know I'm enjoying Angry Harry's accomplishment as well.
