Yeah, I'm still bitter.
On Friday night, ABC World News ran a segment about the Forbes kerfuffle.
Reporter Nancy Weiner interviewed several "career girls" about their response to Michael Noer’s bizarre anti-working woman diatribe. It's good stuff.
ABC news also reported that Steve Forbes, the editor-in-chief of Forbes issued an apology about the article:
"The piece was intended to be part academic and part humorous...Instead, it profoundly offended hardworking career women everywhere. We deeply regret having done so."
Eh, kind of a half-assed apology if you ask me...
In any case, WIMN's Voices is asking that people thank ABC World News for running a piece that went to female sources and "properly contextualized the Forbes article as offensive and inaccurate."

Just wandered over to the Forbes website where they have a discussion forum for the article. It is unbelievable what people are posting, even this morning
Comments are predominantly in support of the article and consistantly bashing women, men who support feminism, and anyone who suggests that the article had some bad points and should not be accepted as true for all career women.
I've learned never to be surprised at what opinions will be aired on online discussion boards (the anonymity is just too tempting, I suppose), but this is completely revolting.

Yeah, thanks ABC.
It doesn't make up for that GOP-ass-kissing-rewrite-of-history, "Path to 9/11" that you're trying to pass off to schools as "educational"--but it's a start.
