All I want for Christmas...

Is to have these people shot.

Well, not really, but these definitely may be the most offensive and infuriating shirts I've ever seen. Just check out the new products on their homepage, and be prepared to gag.

What really pisses me off is that they seem to think that labeling the shirts as "offensive" somehow makes it okay for them to sell.

Thanks to Jen for pointing out this garbage.

I am not going to pay much attention to someone who thinks they can shock me with their t-shirt. Whatever. But for god's sake, that doesn't even rhyme. The wearer doesn't even have that bit of "humor" to hide behind. It's just a pathetic attempt to get attention and admiration for being a rebel who doesn't play by our rules.

Woo and stuff.

Definitely going to hurl now. Oddly enough, I've never taken too much issue with T-shirt Hell and similar, but these ones really make me gag. "Stop rape. Consent." Gah, gah, gah! /rant

When I want to offend I wear a t-shirt that says "Jesus Hates Me". It's kind of cool. Psudo Christians get pissed off, and real ones feel bad for me.

And nestled amongst these are the requisite 4:20 shirts. I rest my case.

Ah good to know some people continue to spread the justification the guy who assaulted me had for his ass.

Ugh.
On the one hand, most women would avoid like hell any guy stupid enough to wear that T-shirt. He might as well wear a T-shirt labelled "I am a rapist."

On the other hand, the simple act of someone wearing that T-shirt contributes to the threatening environment women face all the time. Sometimes "offensive" is a cover word for "oppressive."

And "opressive" is a great word for "pathetic" Anyone who must hide behind the joke of "opressive" in the US should move to another country to see what opression really is, but then again I am sure they are the same people that think Saddam should still be in power and the US was wrong for invading. idiots.....

They think it is okay to sell them if they label them as "offensive" because that is an additional trap set for women. If you do not find stupid, offensive rape T-shirts funny, then you are an uptight bitch with no sense of humor. And it's all these uptight bitches with no sense of humor that spoil all the fun and create more hostility, which means more sexual assault and rape.

john is a great word for pathetic, too, because on the scale of oppression, you know, i just don't understand what people in workcamps in myanmar are complaining about - they should really move to darfur and see what oppression is really about. spoiled punks.

and, diane, i've never thought about it that way - it must be the rape survivors who are responsible for rape. i feel so bad for the rapists out there who are facing hard time for their actions when it's really the 'uptight bitches... that spoil all the fun' who are responsible for rape anyway and should be put in the slam. i gotta say, you really had me going there for a minute, diane.

anyways, really... john, do have any idea what it might feel like to be raped and then have other people walking around turning the violent abuse of your body and spirit into a fucking joke? do have any idea what oppression feels like outside from your tabloid-newspaper and fox five filtered nonsense? have you lived in a country where police regularly beat and kill people for reasons having nothing to do with law?

maybe i live in an alternate reality to you, but everyone i know from spots where things have gone off the hook (from south africa to el salvador) to the degree that you think has some oppression creds would patently not be down with this absurd crap...

and bringing hussein into the mix is really played out. i mean, i love that you can frame the debate in terms of 'you were either for the way we handled things or you were for saddam' 'cos that's some brilliant pr strategy. beyond that, it doesn't actually hold water, but that's not what this is about. this is about dumb-ass toys walking around making good people feel a little bit less safe in their day-to-days...

peace n blessings

What the f**K is 4:20?

Did anyone look at the women in the picture of the "Crib" on the website for these tshirts? They both look like would rather be anywhere else in the world except there. They guys look ignorantly happy.

Did you notice that the shirt that says "If only these were brains" refers to the Tin Man? 'nuf said.

OMG.... that is sick... i was attempted raped and any guy who thinks they can do that shit idk it just makes me sick to think people actually think its not rape if people are sleeping it is cause to me anytime the woman or girl doesnt consent to the sex its rape!!!!!!

most of these shirts ARE highly offensive, but some of them I would either wear or buy for someone I know. Such as "I heart chicks that heart chicks" would be a great gift for a lesbian friend. Or "The only Bush I trust is my own" could be worn by any woman who is anti-Bush.

Other than that, yes, these people need to be shot. Hopefully in the face.

You all sound like senior citizens. blah blah blah this is so offensive, I actually like it. I would buy a shirt like this...never wear it outside...but buy it, yes.

God forbid people make shirts that are truly funny and not "who farted" shirts that are so dumb and cheesy I want to punch people wearing them.

welcome to the new millennium, it only gets worse from here.

Laverton (Royal Australian Air Force Station)
The Royal Australian Air Force Command agreed to the construction of a range on the command grounds at Laverton, so that the clay pigeon shooting contests would be held under the best possible conditions, i.e., an open space of level ground, with good light and a clear background. A completely new range was constructed, consisting of a trench wherein to install 20 target machines, a raised firing platform and the target control hut with all the necessary electrical contacts.

Port Phillip Bay
No better choice could have been made for the yachting events than Port Phillip Bay. The bay, for all practical purposes, almost an inland sea covering 725 square miles, with a narrow outlet to the ocean through the Heads, is the centre for the major yachting events throughout the State of Victoria, and is excellently equipped with yachting club houses and laying-up berths. The Victorian Yachting Association and its affiliated clubs unsparingly made available facilities to the Organizing Committee, together with the use of their club houses. Three courses were selected for the racing at the northern end of the bay.

Modern Pentathlon
The modern pentathlon competition required facilities for the five sports: riding, fencing, pistol shooting, swimming and cross-country running. Only two of these, shooting and swimming, could use the facilities already provided for the main competitions. A course for the riding was selected over good hunting country at Oaklands Hunt Club, Broadmeadows, about 12 miles north of Melbourne and 10 miles from the Village. The Hunt Club, one of the leading clubs of Melbourne, provided the majority of necessary facilities, but additional dressing accommodation for competitors and stalls for the horses had to be provided. The 25 obstacles for the course also had to be constructed.

No special provision for spectators was made other than roped enclosures in the start and finish areas, which as the course was roughly circular adjoined each other, otherwise spectators could walk over the course as they wished. The grounds and facilities at Oaklands were also used for the cross-country running. The fencing for this event was held in the Exhibition Building as already described.
