Not-so-fresh logo
Is it just me, or does the logo for the Independent Women's Forum's College Essay Contest look more like a douche ad than a call for papers?
Or maybe I'm just being bitchy.

Perhaps I, too, am being bitchy..but I think it looks like the cover of bodice ripping romantic novel.
Hmm, less bodice ripper and more teen morality novel.
Now, I'm *certain* I'm bitchy, but all I can think of are Judy Blume's soft-porn novels.
yeah, that's quite an ass shot for a morality novel...
Is it possible to think of a more trite essay topic? And I'm not exactly sure where the gardening hat relates to one's experience on a college campus as an "independent woman in 2005".

Print ad for a made-for-TV-movie about the bonds of sisterhood or something.
Although the does look pretty triumphant -- like she's just defeated the beast that is "less-than-freshness".

On me, so it at all a shower, and any imitation. In general, use of ladies' images as logos - is offensive and humiliates female advantage.
