Naturally, Feministing could care less about which celebrities will be attending the April 25th March for Women's Lives.

But just in case you feel like doing some star watching that day, the Feminist Majority Foundation has released a list of over 100 celebrities who have signed on to the March, in addition to the almost 1,300 organizations that are co-sponsoring the event.

Who knew that Christina Aguilera and Meredith Baxter (no more Birney?) would ever work together? I can see the joint video venture now...Family Ties Me Up, perhaps. It would be the greatest celeb pairing since Michael Gross and Vanilla Ice teamed up for Cool As Ice.

Event: Religious Coalition for Reproductive Rights Lobby Day

Description: RCRC will sponsor a Faithful Choice Lobby Day on Friday
April 23, 2004. At 12:00 noon, there is a lunch and briefing at the
United Methodist Building across from the U.S. Supreme Court on

Event: 10 in 10: A Youth Convergence Site

Event: Latina Summit on Mobilizing for Reproductive Justice
Time: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Description: National Latino leaders will organize, strategize, and
collaborate on how to mobilize Latinos around reproductive health and
rights issues. The future of our reproductive freedom is in danger,
and as Latinos it is time that we come together to build and
strengthen our movement! The summit will include workshops from
respected community leaders and organizers, and a plenary panel with
Latino elected officials, civil rights activists, and grassroots
leaders. Topics to be discussed include reproductive health
disparities, legislative and judicial advocacy strategies, current
reproductive rights struggles, and grassroots organizing models.

Event: Protest at the Vatican Embassy
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Description: Join Catholics for a Free Choice in a dynamic protest
outside the Vatican embassy. Speak out against the Vatican's efforts
to limit access to family planning, safe abortion?even in countries
where abortion is legal; and emergency contraception?even for women
who have been raped as an act of war. Let's join our voices to speak
out for those women throughout the world who have died and who suffer
at the hands of the Vatican's deadly positions on sexual and
reproductive health and rights.
Location: 10:00-10:30am at the empty, triangular lot bordered by
Massachusetts Avenue NW, Fulton Street NW, and 35th Street NW. At
11:00am, the group will then march along Massachusetts Avenue NW
until reaching the Vatican Embassy, located at 3339 Massachusetts
Avenue NW. We will then demonstrate in front of the Vatican until
around 11:30am.

March! The Official March for Women's Lives Kick-off event will run
from 8pm - 11pm. The Kick-off will consist of a wide variety of VIP
speakers, performers and celebrities. Because there will not be the
traditional vendor tables at the March site, we will have sales
tables with lots of products to sell and information tables. There
will be snacks provided as well as a cash bar (no alcohol). Admission
is $20/person. This is the place to see and be seen on Saturday night.

Join WIN's delegation at 10 a.m. We will meet across from the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden on the Mall by 7th St. (Three blocks south of Archives/Navy Memorial metro at the corner of 7th St. and Madison Dr.)

WIN will be marching as part of the District of Columbia Contingent. If you need to find the group, ask a March volunteer where you can find the DC contingent.

Event: Lobby with Advocates for Youth
