Looking good, feeling righteous
Anti-choicers remind us what really matters in the abortion debate: which side has the hottest women. Yeah, I’m serious.

Stupid, but...
I think those pro-choice women are pretty hot! The fool who posted this page has hardly made his or her point.
... because it wasn't a joke or anything.
You can see these pictures and more on ratemyprotestor.com . Be sure to vote early and often as results will dictate future Supreme Court decisions.
For the record: The pro-lifers are definitely hotter, even if they don't look too fun to be around.
I don't know, I think the pro-choice girls are, for the most part, more attractive. But wholesome girls are boring, I like punk-looking ones, and I yearn for when my hair was the color of the girl's in the first picture. (Oh, for hair longer than an inch...)
Interesting that the definition of "hot" mostly seems to be "under the age of consent".
with the exception of the pics at the very bottom the pro-life chicks were definitely hotter. Hate to say it but the pro choice chicks looked scuzzy.
the pro-lifers are hot in a 60-year-old national-review-guy sort of way. that is: they're in middle school.
They look like college girls to me.
Awesome comments re: who's hotter. Is this the feministing site or Maxim? I keep forgetting.
I think it should be a contest of placards! Pro-lifers obviously lacking originality, shouldn't matter what the participants look like. They are all expressing their views, which is quite distinct from imposing one's views.
But really ... you lot ought to do something, they are winning in the courts and their organisation is a key component! America must be the only "western" country to still vilify women in this regard.
"Awesome comments re: who's hotter. Is this the feministing site or Maxim? I keep forgetting."
Don't worry, I think we all realize that this (like the origional post) is a joke.
C--no joke! When I posted this it was to point out the fucked-up-ness of the idea of judging a movement on the "hotness" of its members, not to start a hotornot contest! Lordy.
Jessica - Are you taking the zombietime.com post seriously? I think the site is pretty clearly already making fun of "the idea of judging a movement on the "hotness" of its members". I'm sure they used the pictures they did to insure that the pro-lifers would win in the eyes of most men, but to suggest that the intent of the "contest" is anything more than a joke is ridiculous.
I'm rather suspicious that the pictures were not chosen completely randomly.
I'm more irritated, though, with those signs that insist "women deserve better than abortion." I don't know whether to ask them why the fuck they're not over on our side lobbying for better contraceptive access, or demand to know how the fuck they could think an unwanted pregnancy was better than an abortion. Or make my own sign: "Women deserve better than to be stuck with unwanted pregnancy." Or "Think we deserve better? Then offer something better; forced pregnancy is not."
noname--I understand that zombietime presented it as a joke. but there's no doubt that there was an underlying no-joke message there. check out the other "objective" posts on that march and the pics chosen and i think it becomes clearer.
And these pro-life women are all totally virginal and pure. Uh-huh.
I would be all for the feminists for life if they weren't so schizophrenic about their positions. They won't take a position on birth control but they don't want women to have abortions. They're also very concerned about the "abortion industry." I agree that women deserve better than abortion - but come back when you've got a coherent philosophy and realistic plan.
why is it that they picked so many choice people that looked like they have not bathed in 3 weeks?
It is the old trick: portray activists as if they are all flakey hippie dippies likely stoned out of theri minds whos opinions should not be taken seriously. Unfortunately some of them bring this upon themselves.
Jessica - You are absolutely right, I over simplified things in my last post. There is definitely an underlying no-joke message there.
That no-joke message, however, appears to be a joke in itself (i.e. let's laugh at everyone who will be offended by this). It is kind of like the awful T-shirt sites posted on this site: I don't think someone who buys these shirts necesarily supports rape or thinks it is funny on its own, rather they think it is funny to offend those who will take the shirt seriously (either way it is pretty gross).
Nymphalidae: And these pro-life women are all totally virginal and pure. Uh-huh.
Who cares their current sex lives or sexual history are like?
What a bunch of idiots!!!!! Who wins the debate about a woman's right to choose is based on the underlying argument in support of their position, not looks. How shallow!
