Our favorite Christian crazies, Concerned Women for America, have recently made a big stink over a very serious issue that will apparently infect the young kids everywhere: Barbie has crossed over to the queer side.
It seems that they’re outraged because a poll featured on the Barbie website asks children their age and sex, giving them three options for their sex: “Boy”, “Girl” and “I don’t know.”
In response, CWA has said that Mattel is being influenced by the transgender movement and that a “bisexuality gender confusion” is the dangerous agenda of the website. Um, what? Transgender, bisexual, it’s all the same perverse shit, right??
It seems that Mattel can’t escape the attention that conservative groups have been giving them as of late; they've recently broke partnership with Girls Inc. because of the American Family Association’s ludicrous hating on the nonprofit organization that empowers young girls.
Mattel claims that the third option in the poll was an oversight, was meant to be “I don’t want to say” instead of “I don’t know,” and have since changed the wording.
Shocker.

I think the people of the AFA and the CWA eat their own young.
I am wondering...... is Sam Alito's confirmation hearing not a big issue for anyone? Do we all think it's a done deal? People, it's a LIFE-TIME appointment! Once Alito is confirmed, America is going to go back hundreds of years on civil rights and women's rights. All of what great activists have spent years setting up, will be reversed with one confirmation. Alito has a blatant paper trail of being anti-choice, anti-women's rights, anti-worker's rights and anti-civil rights. He was in the Concerned Alumnae of Princeton, a conspicuous symbol of racism and sexism. On the other hand, he is also against Family and Medical Leave (unpaid) for employees. On what issue can we trust this man for a fair judgement? To be confirmed about his dishonesty, consider this: he promised not to sit on any Vanguard or Smith-Barney cases when being confirmed to the Third Circuit Appelate court because he had financial holdings with them. Not so surprisingly, he broke his promise on several cases, and offered lame excuses. This is a bi-partisan concern. Nobody in America should support this nominee. Call your senators today and urge them to vote NO on Alito, and lead the fight against him. Hearing begins on Jan. 9th. We don't have too long to save the Supreme Court and America's progress. This makes me think that all these extremist family groups are just the freak product of boredom mixed with terrible confusion.

The Sanctimonious Cunts for America really have too much time on their hands.
I am concerned for America, too, when a big-ass corporation like Mattel sells a doll that doesn't even remotely look like a female. I know this is old news, but Barbie looks ridiculous. Of course these little gals don't know what gender they are. Barbie's non-crotch probably has them utterly confused. Look at her face. The make-up is already there! At least the Bratz dolls - which are probably made by the same company - have hips. (Still, they're not much better.) But little Suzy is looking at Barbie going "if she's a girl, and Joey's a boy, I sure as hell don't know what I am."
And regarding Nymphalidae's comment above about "Sanctimonious Cunts of America," I support you in spirit, but I am not convinced that these particular women are aware that they possess any genitalia in the first place. In fact, they may consider themselves to be crotchless, like their pal Barb. I believe there is a diagnostic term for this disorder: cuntaphobia? Vulvala freak-out? Labia majora idiota?
Please count me as Unconcerned about anyone else's gender identity.
