If you're like the idea of drunken politicking, I may have the party for you.

Drinking Liberally is an informal weekly get together for politically like-minded people with 36 locations throughout the country. So essentially you can do happy hour while talking politics. I like this idea. I mean, this is pretty much what my happy hours are anyway, so why not meet some new people in the process?

And if there isn't an event going on in your town, the folks over at Drinking Liberally will help you set one up.

I feel bad for the people going to the Williamsburg location where I'm sure I'll be a regular--I've been known to get increasingly louder and more opinionated as the night goes on (and the beer keeps flowing). Sorry guys!
