Thank you for believing in us

A few weeks ago, we came to you with some really scary news: Feministing was one big fundraising push from shutting down. We asked our readers if you would consider investing in our sustainability by becoming monthly supporters, allowing us to raise enough money to commit to staying open in 2018.

And gosh, did you all SHOW UP. With your incredible support we met our initial goal of 100 new members within the first few days of announcing the program!

Your support reminded us that in dark times, there is a powerful community of people out there who believe in young women and in independent and intersectional feminist media. THANK YOU.

The goal we set on Giving Tuesday was just enough for us to survive into the first half of the new year. But we want to survive – and thrive – past those first few months. We hope you’ll help us grow our new membership program far beyond 100 people.

If you haven’t yet, consider becoming a member today. Members will get sneak peeks on new content and exclusive looks at how we run our site.

Thank you for believing in us.
