A picture of Angela Davis standing in a room full of people

The regime will publish a weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants.

Well, here is a daily list of the violent acts committed by Trump and company.

One of those acts is a draft executive order for the United States to cut voluntary contributions to international bodies by 40%. Funds to international organizations that gives full membership to Palestine, support programs that fund abortion, or skirt sanctions on Iran or North Korea will be cut entirely.

The New York Times published a horrifying interview with White House strategist and white supremacist, Steve Bannon, in which he uses Nazi propaganda to discredit the press.

Despite these horrors, here are small things that made me smile today: this video of Philly shutting down Republicans; these freedom quotes from Angela Davis (who turned 73 today!), Marvel’s Beyoncé-inspired queer Latina superhero (exactly who we need right now!), and GQ’s unexpected (but very much welcome!) takedown of Trump.
