Today the Pope will deliver a mass in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, a city known for having one of the highest rates of femicide in the world. Though the murder rate has decreased slightly, the mothers of disappeared women are still pushing for an end to the violence against women. 

The South Dakota Senate has approved a “bathroom bill” that would require students to use restrooms that correspond with the sex they are assigned at birth. The bill is now awaiting the Republican governor’s signature.
