The personal is political: our resolutions for 2016

Over the last week, we’ve reflected on some of our favorite feminist writing of 2015, on this site and elsewhere. Now, with a fresh year ahead of us, here are our resolutions:

Sesali: To finish writing my master’s thesis on Black women and memes in my Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies program.

Katie: To not feel bad about prioritizing my own mental health and well being. And to write cool stuff. Obvi.

Lori: To write, and to show more cleavage.

Alexandra: To take a break so I’m ready to go hard once I’m finally a lawyer next fall, god and bar exam willing.

Maya: To write a motherfucking book (about sexism in medicine). To be more deliberate about how I spend my attention and energy.

Dana: To forgive myself for lingering too long in unhealthy relationships. Also, to get into law school.

Kim: To write, practice languages including ASL and to create more art!

What are your resolutions for 2016?
