Elizabeth Warren

Quote of the Day: “The problem for these guys is that I fully understand the system”

Earlier this week, JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon said that he’s not sure Elizabeth Warren — U.S. Senator, long-time corporate law professor at Harvard, chair of the panel that oversaw the 2008 bank bailouts — “fully understands the global banking system.”

Warren’s response was perfect:

The problem is not that I don’t understand the global banking system. The problem for these guys is that I fully understand the system and I understand how they make their money. And that’s what they don’t like about me.

I don’t think that Jamie Dimon understands how Elizabeth Warren works.
