A Black woman in Georgia was arrested on murder charges for taking abortion pills ordered online because “she didn’t have any money to get an abortion the legal way.” While the murder charges were dropped, she still faces a misdemeanor charge for “possession of a dangerous drug.” 

Over-the-counter birth control pills might not be so far off.

“Black girls are never deemed feminine enough for their sexual and adolescent vulnerability to register for white people.”

Feministing alum Eesha Pandit on the dangerous myths about domestic violence that are putting LGBTQ people at risk.
