Vote today! Because the GOP is really, really hoping you won’t

It’s disturbing just how accurate this parody video from the Young Turks is.

Fox News is totally fine if us young women are too hot–or too busy on Tinder–to care about voting, because Republicans are counting on women, especially the young single women and women of color who came out so strongly for President Obama two years ago, staying home today–not to mention using new voting restrictions to prevent mostly young, low-income, people of color from voting. In our current political context–in which one party’s electoral strategy requires suppressing the votes of nearly everyone who isn’t a rich white dude–voting isn’t just a civic duty or civil right. It’s also an opportunity to say “fuck you.”
